छिन्नेऽपि चान्ये शिरसि पतिताः पुनरुत्थिताः ।
कबन्धा युयुधुर्देव्याः गृहीतपरमायुधाः ॥
chinne 'pi cānye śirasi patitāḥ punar utthitāḥ | kabandhā yuyudhur devyā gṛhītaparamāyudhāḥ ||
Aun cuando les cortaban la cabeza, algunos, aunque caídos, se alzaban de nuevo; como troncos sin cabeza (kabandhas), tomaban sus mejores armas y combatían a la Diosa.
