Adhyaya 8 — Harishchandra’s Trial: Truth, the Sale of Family, and Bondage to a Chandala
श्मशानाभ्यासयोगेन दैवस्य बलवत्तया ।
अन्यदेहेन दत्त्वा तु गुरवे गुरुदक्षिणाम् ॥
śmaśānābhyāsa-yogena daivasya balavattayā / anya-dehena dattvā tu gurave guru-dakṣiṇām
Por la habitual convivencia con el crematorio y por la fuerza avasalladora del destino, entregó al maestro la guru-dakṣiṇā (la ofrenda debida al preceptor) por medio de otro cuerpo, es decir, mediante una encarnación distinta.
