आनीयतां नरश्रेष्ठ ! या तवेष्टात्मनोऽन्तिकम् । भुङ्क्ष्व भोगांस्तया सार्धं यज यज्ञान्स्तथादृतः ॥
ānīyatāṃ naraśreṣṭha! yā taveṣṭātmano 'ntikam / bhuṅkṣva bhogāṃs tayā sārdhaṃ yaja yajñāṃs tathādṛtaḥ
«Tráiganla, oh el mejor de los hombres, ante tu presencia, tú que has realizado la iṣṭi. Goza con ella de los placeres que te corresponden por derecho y realiza asimismo los sacrificios con el debido respeto.»

The householder path integrates kāma (enjoyment) with yajña (sacred duty); pleasure is affirmed when harmonized with responsibility and reverence.
Upākhyāna with dharma-śikṣā (ethical instruction); it operationalizes household dharma rather than describing creation or dynasties.
Union (sārdham) and sacrifice (yajña) together signal the ideal ‘consecrated household’: relationship becomes a locus of spiritual order, not mere gratification.
