Adhyaya 38 — Dattatreya on Non-Identification (Mamata) and the Path to Liberation
मशकोडुम्बरेषीकामुञ्जमत्स्याम्भसां यथा ।
एकत्वे 'पि पृथग्भावस्तथा क्षेत्रात्मनोर् नृप ! ॥
maśakoḍumbareṣīkāmuñjamatsyāmbhasāṃ yathā |
ekatve 'pi pṛthagbhāvastathā kṣetrātmanornṛpa ! ||
Así como hay separación entre un mosquito, el fruto udumbara, una caña/fibra, la hierba muñja, un pez y el agua—aunque se los mencione juntos—del mismo modo, oh rey, hay distinción entre el campo (kṣetra) y el Sí mismo (ātman).
