सर्वपापानि नश्यन्ति जायन्ते सर्वसम्पद: । एकाकी विजयेच्छत्रून् स्मृत्वा फाल्गुनकर्म च,अर्जुनके चरित्रका स्मरण करनेसे सारे पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं, सब प्रकारकी सम्पदाएँ प्राप्त होती हैं और मनुष्य अकेला या असहाय होनेपर भी शत्रुओंपर विजय प्राप्त कर लेता है। इतना ही नहीं, (अतिवृष्टि आदि) ईतियोंका नाश होता है और प्रियजनोंसे कभी वियोग नहीं होता
