Chapter 58: Arjuna’s Deployment of the Indra-Weapon
दीर्घबाहुर्महातेजा बलरूपसमन्वित: । सर्वलोकेषु विक्रान्तो भारद्वाज: प्रतापवान्
arjuna uvāca |
dīrghabāhur mahātejā balarūpasamanvitaḥ |
sarvalokeṣu vikrānto bhāradvājaḥ pratāpavān |
Arjuna dijo: “De largos brazos, radiante de gran esplendor, dotado de fuerza y noble porte, célebre por su proeza en todos los mundos: éste es el poderoso Bhāradvāja (Droṇa), héroe de formidable valor.” En el marco ético de la epopeya, las palabras de Arjuna reconocen la excelencia y la autoridad marcial incluso en el adversario, reflejando el ideal kṣatriya de honrar el mérito y el poder mientras se prepara para las exigencias del combate.
