Arjuna–Karna Engagement in the Cattle-Raid Aftermath
एकान्ते पार्थमासीनं कूपेडग्निमिव संवृतम् । अज्ञानादभ्यवस्कन्दध्य प्राप्ता: स््मो भयमुत्तमम्
ekānte pārtham āsīnaṁ kūpe 'gnim iva saṁvṛtam | ajñānād abhyavaskandhya prāptāḥ smo bhayam uttamam ||
Dijo Kripa: «Por ignorancia nos hemos precipitado sobre Pārtha (Arjuna), que está sentado aquí en retiro, cubierto como el fuego oculto en un pozo. Así hemos atraído sobre nosotros el mayor de los temores. Tras mantenerlos en el bosque trece años y tratarlos con engaño, ahora que están libres de las ataduras de su voto, ¿no nos destruirán como un león liberado de sus cadenas?»
