युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र चम्पकारण्यमुत्तमम् | तत्रोष्य रजनीमेकां गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,राजेन्द्र! तदनन्तर उत्तम चम्पकारण्य (चम्पारन)-की यात्रा करे। वहाँ एक रात निवास करनेसे तीर्थयात्रीको सहस्र गोदानका फल मिलता है
tato gacchet rājendra campakāraṇyam uttamam | tatroṣya rajanīm ekāṁ gosahasraphalaṁ labhet, rājendra ||
Luego, oh el mejor de los reyes, debe proseguir hacia el excelente Campakāraṇya. Habiendo permanecido allí una sola noche, oh rey, el peregrino alcanza un mérito equivalente al don de mil vacas—y así se alaba el viaje sagrado por su poder de multiplicar el justo mérito mediante un tránsito disciplinado y una estancia reverente.
