शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स्‍्नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्‌,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है

śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||

Ghūlastya dijo: «Oh el mejor de los hombres, si uno se baña conforme al rito prescrito en el vado sagrado de Śālihotra—en el tīrtha llamado Śālisūrya—obtiene el mérito equivalente al don de mil vacas».
