Reverent ritual action—bathing at a sacred site and worshipping the rightful divine lord (Indra)—is presented as a means to gain exalted status in Svarga, emphasizing faith, discipline, and the merit believed to arise from tīrtha and pūjā.
The speaker, Ghūlastya, describes the fruit of a specific tīrtha-practice: bathing in the gods’ lake and worshipping Indra, after which a person is said to be honored and established in the heavenly realm through the gods’ potency.
