Chapter 82
चर्मण्वतीं समासाद्य नियतो नियताशन: । रन्तिदेवा भ्यनुज्ञातमग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत्,इन्द्रियसंयम या शौच-संतोष आदिके पालनपूर्वक नियमित आहारका सेवन करते हुए चर्मण्वती (चंबल) नदीमें स्नान आदि करनेसे राजा रन्तिदेवद्वारा अनुमोदित अग्निष्टोमयज्ञका फल प्राप्त होता है
carmaṇvatīṁ samāsādya niyato niyatāśanaḥ | rantidevād abhyanujñātam agniṣṭoma-phalaṁ labhet ||
Al llegar al río Carmaṇvatī (Chambal), quien vive con disciplina y come con medida obtiene, mediante el baño y las observancias allí—con la aprobación del rey Rantideva—el mérito del sacrificio Agniṣṭoma.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
That disciplined conduct—especially regulated eating, self-control, purity, and contentment—can confer the same religious merit as major sacrifices when practiced at a sacred place, emphasizing inner discipline alongside ritual.
