Chapter 82
तत्राभिगम्य चेशानं गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् | महादेवप्रसादाच्च गाणपत्यं च विन्दति
tatrābhigamya ceśānaṁ gosahasraphalaṁ labhet | mahādevaprasādācca gāṇapatyaṁ ca vindati
Al ir allí y acercarse a Īśāna (Śiva), uno obtiene un mérito igual al fruto de donar mil vacas; y por la gracia de Mahādeva alcanza también la condición de estar entre los Gaṇas.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Approaching Śiva with reverence at a sacred place is presented as a powerful dharmic act: it yields great merit (likened to the famed gift of a thousand cows) and can lead to divine favor, symbolized by attaining closeness to Śiva as one of his Gaṇas.
