Damayantī’s Lament, Serpent-Seizure, Rescue by the Hunter, and the Curse
तैः समेत्य विनिश्चित्य सो<नुज्ञातो महीपते । ययौ मिथुनमारोप्य विदर्भास्तेन वाहिना,राजन्! उनसे मिलकर इस विषयपर भलीभाँति विचार करके उन मन्त्रियोंकी आज्ञा ले सारथि वार्ष्णेयने दोनों बालकोंको रथपर बैठाकर विदर्भ देशको प्रस्थान किया
taiḥ sametya viniścitya so 'nujñāto mahīpate | yayau mithunam āropya vidarbhās tena vāhinā ||
Oh rey, tras reunirse con ellos y deliberar cuidadosamente sobre el asunto, obtuvo su consentimiento. Entonces el auriga Vārṣṇeya hizo subir a los dos niños al carro y partió en aquel vehículo hacia la tierra de Vidarbha, obrando con la debida autorización y consejo prudente, no por fuerza impetuosa.
