असंशयं महाबाहो हनिष्यसि सुयोधनम् । वर्षात् त्रयोदशादूर्ध्व सह गाण्डीवधन्चना,“महाबाहो! इसमें तनिक भी संदेह नहीं है कि तुम तेरहवें वर्षके बाद गाण्डीवधारी अर्जुनके साथ जाकर युद्धमें सुयोधनको मार डालोगे
Asaṁśayaṁ mahābāho haniṣyasi Suyodhanam | varṣāt trayodaśād ūrdhvaṁ saha Gāṇḍīvadhanvaṇā ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh, de brazos poderosos, no hay duda alguna: después de que haya pasado el decimotercer año, darás muerte a Suyodhana, saliendo a la batalla junto con Arjuna, el portador del Gāṇḍīva».
