गृहीतास्त्रो गुडाकेशो महाबाहुर्महामना: । नृत्यवादित्रगीतानां दिव्यानां पारमीयिवान्,“महाबाहु महामना अर्जुन अस्त्रविद्याकी पूरी शिक्षा पा चुके हैं। वे दिव्य नृत्य, वाद्य एवं गीतकी कलामें भी पारंगत हो गये हैं
gṛhītāstro guḍākeśo mahābāhur mahāmanāḥ | nṛtyavāditragītānāṃ divyānāṃ pāram īyivān ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Arjuna —conocido como Guḍākeśa, de poderosos brazos y gran alma—, tras dominar la ciencia de las armas, alcanzó también plena destreza en las artes divinas de la danza, la música instrumental y el canto.»
