Book 3, Chapter 42
तथैवाशनयश्वैव चक्रयुक्तास्तुलागुडा: । वायुस्फोटा: सनिर्घाता महामेघस्वनास्तथा
tathaivāśanayaś caiva cakrayuktās tulāguḍāḥ | vāyusphoṭāḥ sanirghātā mahāmeghasvanās tathā ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Asimismo había proyectiles semejantes al vajra, pesadas bolas de piedra arrojadas con ruedas y mazas de gran peso; al ser lanzadas, rasgaban el aire con un silbido agudo, y golpeaban con estrépitos como truenos y con un bramido hondo como el de grandes nubes de tormenta.»
