Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्
अथ जाम्बूनदवपुर्विमानेन महार्चिषा । कुबेर: समनुप्राप्तो यक्षैरनुगत: प्रभु:,तदनन्तर स्वर्णके समान शरीरवाले भगवान् कुबेर महातेजस्वी विमानद्वारा वहाँ आये। उनके साथ बहुत-से यक्ष भी थे
atha jāmbūnadavapur vimānena mahārcisā | kuberaḥ samanuprāpto yakṣair anugataḥ prabhuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Entonces llegó allí el señor Kubera, acompañado por los Yakṣas, viniendo en un carro celeste de fulgor radiante y con un cuerpo de resplandor dorado. La escena marca la entrada de un guardián divino de la riqueza y del orden, cuya presencia anuncia autoridad, protección y el poder disciplinado que acompaña a la soberanía legítima.
