Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्
ते भानुमन्ति चित्राणि शिखराणि महागिरे: । समास्थायार्जुनं तत्र ददृशुस्तपसान्वितम्
te bhānumanti citrāṇi śikharāṇi mahāgireḥ | samāsthāyārjunaṃ tatra dadṛśus tapasānvitam ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Al alcanzar las cumbres radiantes y maravillosas de la gran montaña, vieron allí a Arjuna—firme y colmado de tapas (austeridad y autodominio)—absorto en su práctica disciplinada.
