Shloka 11

नरेन्द्र! आपने ब्राह्मणके प्रति बर्ताव करनेके विषयमें जो कुछ कहा है, उसके अनुसार मैं उत्तम नियमोंके पालनपूर्वक इन श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणकी सेवामें उपस्थित रहूँगी ।। एवं ब्रुवन्तीं बहुश: परिष्वज्य समर्थ्य च । इति चेति च कर्तव्यं राजा सर्वमथादिशत्‌,इस प्रकार कहती हुई कुन्तीको बारंबार गलेसे लगाकर राजाने उसकी बातोंका समर्थन किया और कैसे-कैसे क्या-क्या करना चाहिये, इसके विषयमें उसे सुनिश्चित आदेश दिया

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

"narendra! āpane brāhmaṇa-ke prati bartāva karane-ke viṣaya meṃ jo kuch kahā hai, uske anusāra maiṃ uttama niyamoṃ ke pālana-pūrvak in śreṣṭha brāhmaṇoṃ kī sevā meṃ upasthita rahūṃgī" ||

evaṃ bruvantīṃ bahuśaḥ pariṣvajya samarthya ca |

iti ceti ca kartavyaṃ rājā sarvam athādiśat ||

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «¡Oh rey! Conforme a lo que has dicho acerca de la conducta debida hacia los brahmanes, observando excelentes disciplinas, permaneceré con devoción al servicio de estos eminentes brahmanes». Mientras Kuntī hablaba así, el rey la abrazó una y otra vez, aprobó su determinación y luego dio instrucciones claras sobre todo lo que debía hacerse—esto y aquello—señalando el curso correcto de acción.
