संग्रामे च जयेन्नित्यं विपुलं चाप्रुयाद् वसु । मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्य: सूर्यलोक॑ स गच्छति,जो इसका अनुष्ठान करता है वह सदा संग्राममें विजयी होता है, बहुत धन पाता है, सब पापोंसे मुक्त होता और अन्तमें सूर्यलोकको जाता है
saṅgrāme ca jayen nityaṁ vipulaṁ cāpnuyād vasu | mucyate sarvapāpebhyaḥ sūryalokaṁ sa gacchati ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Quien cumple esta observancia vence siempre en la batalla, obtiene riquezas abundantes, queda libre de todos los pecados y, al final, va al mundo del Sol (Sūryaloka).
