Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode

Life is finite and often bounded by forces beyond human control; dharma is shown by how one responds—through truth, steadfastness, and right action—even when loss is certain.
Nārada reports a decisive prediction: the person described is short-lived and will die within a year. This foreknowledge sets the ethical and emotional stakes for the characters who must choose their course despite the impending death.
