संततार पुनस्तेन सेतुना मकरालयम् | पुष्पकेण विमानेन खेचरेण विराजता
santatāra punas tena setunā makarālayam | puṣpakeṇa vimānena khecareṇa virājatā
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Entonces, por aquel mismo dique, cruzó de nuevo hacia el océano—morada de los makaras—resplandeciendo en el cielo en el carro aéreo Puṣpaka. El verso subraya el retorno deliberado y la firme resolución: cumplido lo necesario, prosigue sin soberbia, sostenido por la pericia, los medios y una intención disciplinada.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse underscores steadfastness and disciplined follow-through: after building or using a means (the setu), one completes the task and proceeds onward without attachment, using available resources responsibly.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that the hero crosses the ocean again by the same causeway, and is described as resplendent while traveling through the sky in the Puṣpaka aerial car.
