Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed

Educational Q&A

Even in conflict, the highest aim is unwavering adherence to dharma; success is sought not merely as conquest but as righteous victory joined with care for one’s companions, shown here by the wish to restore fallen allies.

Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that Rāma requests boons: constant steadiness in dharma, freedom from defeat by enemies, and the revival of the vānaras who were killed by the rākṣasas.
