मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Righteous action is not merely private; it stands before the moral order of the world. The ‘voice in the sky’ functions as a public witness (loka-sākṣiṇī), suggesting that virtue (puṇya) naturally brings inner uplift and communal encouragement, strengthening those who act nobly.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that an unseen, heavenly voice arises in the sky. It is described as beautiful and holy, and it fills the great-souled Vānaras with joy—an omen-like affirmation that supports and heartens them at that moment in the story.
