Adhyāya 290: Kuntī’s Mantra-Parīkṣā and the Appearance of Sūrya (कुन्ती–सूर्यसंवादः)

योधयामासतुरुभौ रावर्णिं रामलक्ष्मणौ | यद्यपि रावणका पुत्र मायासे तिरोहित हो जानेके कारण दिखायी नहीं देता था, तो भी शूरवीर श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण दोनों भाई उसके साथ युद्ध करते ही रहे

yodhayāmāsatur ubhau rāvarṇiṃ rāma-lakṣmaṇau |

Mārkaṇḍeya dijo: Rāma y Lakṣmaṇa, ambos, combatieron contra el hijo de Rāvaṇa. Aunque el príncipe rākṣasa, por su arte de ilusión, se ocultaba y no podía ser visto, los dos hermanos heroicos no abandonaron la lucha y siguieron enfrentándolo en batalla, firmes en el valor y en el deber pese a la incertidumbre y al engaño.
