तं स रक्षोमहामात्रमापतन्तं सपत्नजित् । प्रतिजग्राह हनुमांस्तरसा पवनात्मज:,तब शत्रुविजयी पवननन्दन हनुमानने अपनी ओर आते हुए उस विशालकाय राक्षसको बड़े वेगसे धर दबाया
taṁ sa rakṣo-mahāmātram āpatantaṁ sapatna-jit | pratijagrāha hanumān tarasā pavanātmajaḥ ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Cuando aquel gigantesco oficial rākṣasa se precipitó al ataque, Hanumān —hijo del Viento, célebre vencedor de enemigos— lo sujetó al instante y lo detuvo con fuerza arrolladora.
