Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

गतासु तासु सर्वासु त्रिजटा नाम राक्षसी । सान्त्वयामास वैदेहीं धर्मज्ञा प्रियवादिनी,वहाँ केवल धर्मको जाननेवाली प्रियवादिनी त्रिजटा नामकी राक्षसी रह गयी। अन्य सब राक्षसियोंके चले जानेपर उसने सीताको सान्त्वना देते हुए कहा--

Transliteration

gatāsu tāsū sarvāsū trijaṭā nāma rākṣasī | sāntvayāmāsa vaidehīṃ dharmajñā priyavādinī ||

Translation

Cuando todas las demás rākṣasīs se hubieron marchado, sólo quedó la rākṣasī llamada Trijaṭā. Conocedora del dharma y de palabra suave, consoló a Vaidehī (Sītā), dándole sosiego en medio del temor y la soledad.
