Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
सर्वभूतरुतज्ञा त्वं पश्य बुद्धया समन्विता । केन चाश्रयवान् प्राप्तो ममैष भ्रातृगन्धिक:,'प्रिये! तुम समस्त प्राणियोंकी बोली समझती हो, साथ ही बुद्धिमती भी हो। अतः सोचो तो सही, यह मेरा नाममात्रका भाई किसका सहारा लेकर यहाँ आया है?”
sarvabhūtarutajñā tvaṁ paśya buddhyā samanvitā | kena cāśrayavān prāpto mamaiṣa bhrātṛgandhikaḥ ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: «Amada, tú comprendes los clamores y el habla de todos los seres, y estás dotada de discernimiento. Por ello, reflexiona con cuidado: ¿acogiéndose a quién ha logrado llegar aquí éste, mi hermano sólo de nombre?»
