अरण्यकपर्व — मार्कण्डेयकथिते रामविजयः, सीताशुद्धिः, अयोध्याप्रत्यागमनवर्णनम्

Rāma’s victory, Sītā’s vindication, and return to Ayodhyā as told by Mārkaṇḍeya

एतदू रामस्य ते जन्म सीतायाश्न प्रकीर्तितम्‌ । रावणस्यापि ते जन्म व्याख्यास्यामि जनेश्वर,जनेश्वर! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें श्रीराम और सीताके जन्मका वृत्तान्त बताया है। अब रावणके भी जन्मका प्रसंग सुनाऊँगा

etad u rāmasya te janma sītāyāś ca prakīrtitam | rāvaṇasyāpi te janma vyākhyāsyāmi janeśvara ||

«Así te he relatado el nacimiento y el origen de Rāma y de Sītā. Ahora, oh señor de los hombres, también te explicaré el nacimiento y el origen de Rāvaṇa.»
