जले निमग्नां गां दृष्टवा चोद्धर्तु मनसेच्छति । कि नु रूपमहं कृत्वा सलिलादुद्धरे महीम्,पृथ्वीको जलमें डूबी हुई देख भगवानने मन-ही-मन उसे बाहर निकालनेकी इच्छा की। वे सोचने लगे, “कौन-सा रूप धारण करके मैं इस जलसे पृथ्वीका उद्धार करूँ
jale nimagnāṁ gāṁ dṛṣṭvā coddhartu manasecchati | ki nu rūpam ahaṁ kṛtvā salilād uddhare mahīm |
Dijo Bhīmasena: Al ver a la Tierra hundida bajo las aguas, el Señor resolvió en su interior alzarla de nuevo. Y se preguntó: «¿Qué forma he de asumir para sacar a la Tierra de este diluvio?»
भीमसेन उवाच
When disorder overwhelms the world, true guardianship acts decisively yet thoughtfully: power is not random force but a chosen means aligned with restoring dharma and protecting the vulnerable (here, the Earth itself).
Bhīma recounts a cosmogonic moment: the Earth has sunk into the waters, and the Lord, seeing this, inwardly resolves to rescue her and considers what form to assume to accomplish the uplift.
