घोरस्वरा विनदिनस्तडिन्मालावलम्बिन: । समुत्तिष्ठन् दिश: सर्वा विवर्षन्त: समन्तत:,“भयंकर स्वरसे गर्जना करते हुए वे बादल बिजलियोंकी मालाओंसे प्रकाशित हो सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें फैल जाते और सब ओर वर्षा करने लग जाते हैं
ghorasvarā vinadinās taḍinmālāvalambinaḥ | samuttiṣṭhan diśaḥ sarvā vivarṣantaḥ samantataḥ ||
Bhīmasena describe el alzarse de la tormenta: “Las nubes, rugiendo con sonido espantoso y fulgurando con guirnaldas de relámpagos, se alzan y se extienden por todas las direcciones; luego derraman lluvia por doquier.”
भीमसेन उवाच
The verse uses the storm’s terrifying grandeur to suggest that overwhelming circumstances are part of life’s landscape; one should meet them with steadiness and courage rather than fear, keeping one’s resolve intact amid turbulence.
Bhīmasena is describing a violent storm: thunderous clouds, lit by streaks of lightning, rise and spread across every direction and then unleash rain everywhere.
