Chapter 270: Slaying of Prahasta; Defeat of Dhūmrākṣa; Awakening of Kumbhakarṇa
ते सान्त्व्य धौम्यं परिदीनसत्त्वा: सुखं भवानेत्विति राजपुत्रा: । श्येना यथैवामिषसम्प्रयुक्ता जवेन तत् सैन्यमथाभ्यधावन्,तब असाधारण पराक्रमी राजकुमार पाण्डव धौम्य मुनिको सान्त्वना देते हुए बोले --आप निश्चिन्त होकर चलिये, (हमलोग आ पहुँचे हैं।)” फिर जैसे बाज मांसकी ओर झपटते हैं, उसी प्रकार पाण्डव जयद्रथकी सेनाके पीछे बड़े वेगसे दौड़े
te sāntvya dhaumyaṁ paridīnasattvāḥ sukhaṁ bhavānetv iti rājaputrāḥ | śyenā yathaivāmiṣasamprayuktā javena tat sainyam athābhyadhāvan ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Tras consolar a Dhaumya, los príncipes—aunque por dentro afligidos—dijeron: «Seguid en seguridad; estad tranquilo». Luego, como halcones que se abalanzan sobre la carne, se lanzaron a gran velocidad tras aquel ejército, persiguiendo las fuerzas de Jayadratha.
