Draupadī’s Instruction on Marital Conduct and Household Discipline (चित्तग्रहण-उपदेश)
महतां चैव भूतानां सर्वेषामिह यः पति: । भगवान् स महातेजा नित्यं चरति पावक:,“वे ही इस जगतके सम्पूर्ण महाभूतोंके पति हैं। उनमें सम्पूर्ण ऐश्वर्य सुशोभित हैं। वे महातेजस्वी अग्निदेव सदा सर्वत्र विचरण करते हैं
mahatāṃ caiva bhūtānāṃ sarveṣām iha yaḥ patiḥ | bhagavān sa mahātejā nityaṃ carati pāvakaḥ ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: «Aquel que es señor de todos los grandes seres aquí—en verdad, de todos los seres—es el Bienaventurado. Dotado de inmenso resplandor, ese dios del Fuego, Pāvaka, se mueve por doquier sin cesar».
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Agni (Pāvaka) is portrayed as a universal, ever-present divine power—lord of all beings—implying that honoring the sustaining and purifying forces of the cosmos aligns one with dharma and reverence for order.
Mārkaṇḍeya is describing the exalted status of Agni: as the blessed, radiant lord of all beings who continually moves through the world, emphasizing his pervasive presence and authority.
