Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father

हतास्ते दानवा: सर्वे यै: स शब्द उदीरित: । शरैरादित्यसंकाशैज्वलितै: शब्दसाधनै:,जिन दानवोंने पहले कोलाहल किया था, वे सब सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी शब्दवेधी बाणोंद्वारा मारे गये

hatās te dānavāḥ sarve yaiḥ sa śabda udīritaḥ | śarair āditya-saṅkāśaiḥ jvalitaiḥ śabda-sādhanaiḥ ||

Dijo Vāyu: «Todos aquellos Dānavas que habían alzado aquel estrépito fueron abatidos—derribados por flechas llameantes, brillantes como el sol, armas que apuntan guiadas por el sonido. Así, el mismo ruido que desataron se volvió el medio por el cual fueron hallados y destruidos.»
