पञ्चवर्णोत्पत्तिः — The Origin of the Five-Colored Fiery Being and Ritual-Disruptor Lineages
ततो मोक्षे प्रयतते नानुपायादुपायत: । सम्पूर्ण जगतको नश्वर समझकर वह सबको त्यागनेका प्रयत्न करता है। तत्पश्चात् उचित उपायसे मोक्षके लिये सचेष्ट होता है। अनुपाय (प्रारब्ध आदि)-का अवलम्बन करके बैठ नहीं रहता
tato mokṣe prayatate nānupāyād upāyataḥ |
Entonces se esfuerza por la liberación: no aferrándose a lo que no es un verdadero medio, sino adoptando el medio correcto. Al comprender que el mundo entero es perecedero, procura renunciar a todo apego; y después, se aplica activamente a la mokṣa mediante las disciplinas justas, en vez de quedarse sentado apoyándose en “no-medios” como el destino o el impulso de las acciones pasadas.
व्याध उवाच
Liberation is attained through appropriate means and deliberate practice, not through passive dependence on ‘non-means’ like mere fatalism or the inertia of past karma. Recognizing the world’s impermanence supports genuine detachment and purposeful striving.
The vyādha continues his instruction on dharma and spiritual life, emphasizing that one should renounce attachment after discerning the world’s transience and then actively pursue mokṣa through proper disciplines, rather than excusing inaction by appealing to destiny or prior deeds.
