Dharma-vyādha’s Analysis of Moral Decline and the Mahābhūta–Guṇa Schema (धर्मव्याधोपदेशः)
साधुसज्भरमपूतेन वाक्सुभाषितवारिणा | पवित्रीकृतमात्मानं सन््तो मन्यन्ति नित्यश:,सत्संगसे पवित्र किये हुए वाणीके सुन्दर सम्भाषणरूप जलसे अभिकषिक्त श्रेष्ठ पुरुष अपनेको सदा पवित्र हुआ मानते हैं
sādhu-saṅbhāram apūtena vāk-subhāṣita-vāriṇā | pavitrīkṛtam ātmānaṃ santaḥ manyante nityaśaḥ ||
Dijo Yudhiṣṭhira: «Con el agua pura de las palabras bien dichas—un habla sin mancha y ennoblecida por la compañía de los buenos—los nobles sienten que su ser interior ha sido lavado. Así, mediante la constante convivencia con los virtuosos y la conversación refinada, se consideran perpetuamente purificados».
युधिछिर उवाच
Association with the virtuous and listening to (or speaking) well-formed, pure words functions like cleansing water: it purifies one’s inner self and sustains moral clarity.
Yudhiṣṭhira is articulating a dharma-centered reflection: he explains how the company of good people and their refined conversation continually purify a person, framing ethical growth as something nurtured through sat-saṅga and disciplined speech.
