Entonces, mientras el rey aún estaba sentado allí mismo, llegó su ejército y se acercó a él.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the inseparability of rulership from responsibility: the king’s role naturally draws the instruments of protection and power (the army) to him, reminding that authority is accompanied by immediate obligations toward order and security.
After a preceding event, the narration notes that the king remains seated at the same spot, and in the meantime his army arrives and approaches him, marking a shift toward action and the gathering of forces around the ruler.
