पत्यौ स्त्री तु तदा राजन् पुरुषो वा स्त्रियं प्रति । युगान्ते राजशार्दूल न तोषमुपयास्यति,नृपश्रेष्ठ! युगान्तकाल आनेपर स्त्री अपने पतिसे और पति अपनी स्त्रीसे संतुष्ट नहीं होंगे
patyau strī tu tadā rājan puruṣo vā striyaṃ prati | yugānte rājaśārdūla na toṣam upayāsyati, nṛpaśreṣṭha |
Mārkaṇḍeya dijo: «Oh rey: entonces la esposa hacia el esposo—y asimismo el esposo hacia la esposa—no alcanzará contento. Oh tigre entre los reyes, cuando se acerque el fin de la era, decaerá la satisfacción mutua en el matrimonio.»
