Nārāyaṇopadeśa to Mārkaṇḍeya (Cosmic Self-Identification and Yuga Doctrine) | नारायणोपदेशः
वृशाश्ष ये जुद्धति श्रद्दधाना: सत्यव्रता हुतशिष्टाशिनश्व । गवां लोकं प्राप्य ते पुण्यगन्धं पश्यन्ति देवं परमं चापि सत्यम्,जो तपसे कृश हो सत्य व्रतका पालन करते हुए प्रतिदिन श्रद्धापूर्वक हवन करते हैं और हवनसे बचे हुए अन्नका भोजन करते हैं, वे पवित्र सुगन्धसे भरे हुए गौओंके लोकमें जाते हैं और वहाँ परम सत्य परमात्माका दर्शन करते हैं
vṛṣāś ca ye yuddhati śraddadhānāḥ satyavratā hutaśiṣṭāśinaś ca | gavāṁ lokaṁ prāpya te puṇyagandhaṁ paśyanti devaṁ paramaṁ cāpi satyam ||
Tākṣya dijo: «Quienes combaten con fe, firmes en votos de verdad, realizan ofrendas diarias y comen sólo lo que queda tras la oblación—al alcanzar el fragante y meritorio mundo de las vacas, contemplan a lo Divino, a lo Supremo, y también la Verdad más alta.»
