Pradyumna–Śālva Missile-Exchange at Saubha (Āraṇyaka Parva, Adhyāya 18)
त्वं च सूतकुले जातो विनीत:ः सूतकर्मणि । धर्मज्ञश्षासि वृष्णीनामाहवेष्वपि दारुके,“दारुककुमार! तू सूतकुलमें उत्पन्न होनेके साथ ही सूतकर्मकी अच्छी तरह शिक्षा पा चुका है। वृष्णिवंशी वीरोंका युद्धमें क्या धर्म है, यह भी भली-भाँति जानता है
tvaṃ ca sūtakule jāto vinītaḥ sūtakarmaṇi | dharmajñaś cāsi vṛṣṇīnām āhaveṣv api dāruke ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Tú también naciste en la estirpe de los sūta (aurigas) y has sido bien instruido en los deberes de un sūta. Y, oh Dāruka, comprendes cuál es la conducta justa para los héroes Vṛṣṇi—hasta en medio del fragor de la batalla».
