भीमसेनस्य नादेन व्यमुठ्जन्त गुहा भयात् वनमें घूमते हुए भीमसेनका बलाभिमान दीर्घकालसे बहुत बढ़ा हुआ था। उस समय उनकी सिंह-गर्जनासे महान् बलशाली गजराज और मृगराज भी भयसे अपना स्थान छोड़कर भाग गये

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Al estruendoso rugido de Bhīmasena, las cavernas fueron abandonadas por miedo. Desde hacía mucho, mientras vagaba por el bosque, el orgullo de Bhīma en su propia fuerza no dejaba de crecer; y en aquel instante, hasta los poderosos elefantes señores y el rey de las bestias—el león—huyeron de sus lugares, estremecidos por su bramido leonino.
