Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa (कुबेरप्रसादविहारः तथा अज्ञातवासोपदेशः)
दानवानां विनाशाय अस्त्राणां परमं बलम् ग्राहितस्त्वं महेन्द्रेण पुरुषेन्द्र तदुत्तमम्,पुरुषोत्तम! देवराज इन्द्रने इन दानवोंके विनाशके उद्देश्यसे ही तुम्हें परम उत्तम अस्त्रबलकी प्राप्ति करायी है
arjuna uvāca | dānavānāṁ vināśāya astrāṇāṁ paramaṁ balam grāhitastvaṁ mahendreṇa puruṣendra taduttamam, puruṣottama | devarāja indreṇa dānavānāṁ vināśa-uddeśyenaiva te parama-uttama astrabala-prāptiḥ kāritā |
Dijo Arjuna: «Oh el mejor de los hombres, oh Persona Suprema: Indra, el gran rey de los dioses, ha hecho que obtengas el poder más alto de las armas divinas con el único fin de destruir a los Dānavas. Esta suprema potencia marcial no fue concedida para el orgullo ni para la ostentación, sino para sostener la causa de los dioses y contener las fuerzas destructoras que amenazan el orden del dharma.»
