न च मन्युस्त्वया कार्यो भीमसेनस्य पाण्डव | कालेनैते हताः पूर्व निमित्तमनुजस्तव,'पाण्डुनन्दन! तुम्हें भीमसेनपर क्रोध नहीं करना चाहिये। ये यक्ष और राक्षस कालके द्वारा पहले ही मारे गये थे। तुम्हारे भाई तो इसमें निमित्तमात्र हुए हैं

Transliteration

na ca manyus tvayā kāryo bhīmasenasya pāṇḍava | kālenaitē hatāḥ pūrvaṁ nimittam anujas tava ||

Translation

Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: “Oh Pāṇḍava, no abrigues ira contra Bhīmasena. Estos Yakṣas y Rākṣasas ya estaban destinados a morir por obra del Tiempo; tu hermano menor fue tan solo el instrumento de ese suceso.”
