इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः
Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
मानुषेण कृतं कर्म विधत्स्व यदनन्तरम् । स तच्छुत्वा तु संक़रुद्धः सर्ववक्षणणाधिप:
mānuṣeṇa kṛtaṃ karma vidhatsva yad anantaram | sa tac chrutvā tu saṅkruddhaḥ sarva-vakṣaṇaṇādhipaḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Habiendo realizado una acción por esfuerzo humano, ordena ahora lo que debe seguir después». Al oír esas palabras, el señor que mandaba todas las huestes se encendió en ira: le hirió la insinuación de que un acto meramente humano pudiera dictar el curso de los sucesos, y de que el paso siguiente debiera sopesarse a la luz de la responsabilidad y sus consecuencias.
