Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas

Educational Q&A

After giving counsel, the dharma-centered leader practices restraint in speech and turns inward to sustained reflection, showing that ethical action requires careful, repeated consideration of artha (practical aims) under the guidance of dharma.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira, having addressed Bhīma on the preceding issue, stops speaking and continues to contemplate the same matter, emphasizing his steady commitment to dharma and thoughtful judgment.
