Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
ततः शैलोत्तमस्याग्रं चित्रमाल्यधरं शिवम् | व्यपेतभयसम्मोहा: पश्यन्तु सुहृदस्तव,“तत्पश्चात् विचित्र मालाधारी एवं शिवस्वरूप इस उत्तम शैल-शिखरको तुम्हारे सब सुहृद् भय और मोहसे रहित होकर देखें। भीम! दीर्धकालसे मैं अपने मनमें यही सोच ही रही हूँ। मैं तुम्हारे बाहुबलसे सुरक्षित हो इस शैल-शिखरका दर्शन करना चाहती हूँ!
tataḥ śailottamasyāgraṃ citramālyadharaṃ śivam | vyapetabhaya-sammoḥāḥ paśyantu suhṛdas tava ||
Entonces (ella dijo): «Que tus compañeros bienintencionados, libres ya de temor y desconcierto, contemplen la cumbre de esta excelente montaña—auspiciosa y hermosa, como si estuviera adornada con guirnaldas de múltiples colores.» La línea presenta la cima como una visión sagrada que aquieta el corazón: bajo la protección de un guardián digno de confianza, uno puede acercarse a lo alto y santo sin ser sacudido por el miedo o la ilusión.
