अध्याय १४९ — हनूमतो महद्रूपदर्शनं तथा धर्म-नीति-उपदेशः

ततो वानरकोटीभि: सहितो<हं नरर्षभ । सीतां मार्गन् महाबाहो प्रयातो दक्षिणां दिशम्,नरश्रेष्ठ॒ महाबाहो! उस समय करोड़ों वानरोंके साथ मैं भी सीताजीका पता लगाता हुआ दक्षिण दिशाकी ओर गया
tato vānarakoṭībhiḥ sahito 'haṃ nararṣabha | sītāṃ mārgan mahābāho prayāto dakṣiṇāṃ diśam ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: «Entonces, acompañado por crores de monos, yo también partí—oh toro entre los hombres, oh de brazos poderosos—buscando a Sītā y me encaminé hacia el sur». El episodio subraya la firme resolución y el servicio leal en una misión justa: no se emprende para conquistar, sino para restituir lo arrebatado injustamente.
