Arrogance, Boons, and Nimitta
स हि क्रुद्धः समर्थस्त्वां पुत्र पीडयितुं रुषा । रैभ्यश्वापि तपस्वी च कोपनश्च महानृषि:,बेटा! तुम्हें सावधान करनेका कारण यह है कि शक्तिशाली तपस्वी महर्षि रैभ्य बड़े क्रोधी हैं। वे कुपित होकर रोषसे तुम्हें पीड़ा दे सकते हैं
sa hi kruddhaḥ samarthas tvāṃ putra pīḍayituṃ ruṣā | raibhyas tv api tapasvī ca kopanaś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ ||
«Pues, cuando se enfurece, es capaz—hijo mío—de afligirte con su ira. Raibhya es también un gran sabio, un asceta de poder temible y de cólera pronta. Por eso te prevengo: sé cauteloso; no provoques a quien, con su tapas y su temperamento, puede convertirlo todo en daño.»
