Sacred places are approached as moral thresholds: the mention of Mānasarovara’s ‘gate’ and Paraśurāma’s hermitage frames pilgrimage as an exercise in reverence, restraint, and dharmic conduct rather than mere travel.
A guide/speaker points out to the king that the entrance to Mānasarovara is now visible and notes that the illustrious Paraśurāma established his hermitage in the mountain’s central region, identifying the site’s sanctity and significance.
