Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
त्वं च यादवशार्दूल सभायां वै समेष्यथ । 'यदुकुलसिंह! वहाँ कौरवसभामें भीष्म, द्रोण आदि प्रमुख व्यक्ति, परम बुद्धिमान् विदुर तथा आप पधारेंगे
tvaṃ ca yādavaśārdūla sabhāyāṃ vai sameṣyatha |
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Y tú también, oh tigre entre los Yādavas, acudirás en verdad a la asamblea real». La línea anticipa la presencia de Kṛṣṇa en la corte de los Kauravas, donde el destino de la paz y la guerra será sopesado ante ancianos y consejeros: un momento ético en el que la palabra sabia y el consejo justo se ponen a prueba frente al orgullo y el poder.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the moral weight of appearing in an assembly where decisions affecting many lives are made: righteous counsel and truthful speech must be offered even when the court is dominated by power and partiality.
Vaiśampāyana foretells/notes that Kṛṣṇa, addressed as ‘Yādavaśārdūla,’ will come to the royal court—setting the stage for high-stakes deliberation in the Kaurava assembly during the pre-war negotiations.
